Wind Power Accommodation Capacity Evaluation Model Based on Complex Network

Abstract: Traditional wind power accommodation capacity evaluation methods only focus on power grid energy consumption without consideration of other affecting factors which leads to poor performance. An accommodation capacity evaluation model is proposed based on complex network analysis. The evaluation flowchart is introduced. Based on current operation point, the high limit and low limit of wind power accommodation amount is obtained. The evaluation object function is constructed according to the range shaped by limits. Various aspects, including power network stability constraints, unit output constraint and wind output constraint, are evaluated. Wind power accommodation capacity under specific time period in complex power network are then performed. The experimental results show high practical value of proposed method.
