Abstract: Based on the centralized power grid monitoring development of the State Grid Corporation of China, the potential security risks of the power grid is elaborated in this paper. In view of the separated and centralized massive information problems, it is discussed how to establish an efficient automation support systems and formulate reasonable management strategies so as to control the potential risks and effectively response the ordeal of hazard weather and major power grid faults, and consequently make a full play of the advantages of centralized monitoring and ensure the grid safety and reliability.

Key words: massive information, information security, risk, response strategy, integration of hierarchical scheduling and controlling of centralized monitoring signals
