Vibration Frequency Identification and Analysis for UHV Line Shield Ring

Abstract: In order to monitor the vibration frequency of shielding ring of transmission lines, a non-contact vibration frequency identification method is proposed. Taking a shield ring of an ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission line as an example, the method of image recognition is used to recognize the vibration frequency, and the finite element method is used to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. The analyzing results show that the frequency obtained by two different methods are close, and the image recognition method can be used to identify the vibration frequency of shielding ring of transmission lines.
