System of Single Row Configuration in 660-MW Ultra-Supercritical Units

Abstract: Through the analysis on the characteristics and control requirements of single-row main auxiliary system configuration, a series of reliability-enhanced control optimization schemes are proposed, which include hardware system optimization design, real-time online intelligent diagnosis optimization design, boiler main protection optimization design, interlock protection and thermodynamic measurement redundancy configuration for auxiliary equipments, optimized allocation of I/O measurements, the protection technology for single-row auxiliary equipments and so on. The schemes have been applied in Bulian 660-MW ultra-supercritical units successfully, and significant economic and social benefits have been achieved.
