Abstract: In recent years, domestic distributed photovoltaic (PV) presents a high-speed development trend with the characteristics of wide-area and locally high-density parallel network, which brings impact to the operation safety of power grid in the high-proportion PV generation area. Based on the survey of a large number of data, this paper analyzes the distributed PV in 27 provincial power grids in China. Suggestions for promoting PV penetration are given in terms of changing distribution network characteristic, increasing power balancing difficulty, increasing voltage adjusting ability, and decreasing frequency adjusting ability.
