Abstract: In order to facilitate the measurement of the parameters to ground in the neutral point arc suppression coil grounding system ,a new tuning method of arc suppression coil based on the zero-sequence voltage fixed phase and compared amplitude is proposed. In this method, the arc suppression coil and resistor are added in the distribution network neutral point, before incorporating the resistor, the zero-sequence voltage phase can be measured firstly; after incorporating the resistor, the arc suppression coil inductance value will be further adjusted to make sure that the zero-sequence voltage phase of the neutral point is identical. The total capacitance and the total resistance to the ground in the power distribution network can be accurately obtained by using the formula with the measured zero-sequence voltage amplitude. Finally, the Matlab simulation model is built to verify the tuning method. It proves that this method has the advantages of simple operation, high accuracy etc.; and it has good compensation effect on the arc suppression coil tuning.
