Energy Internet as Strong Support for the Development of Smart City

Abstract

Abstract: As a new pattern of urban development in the information era, Smart City creates humanized management and services based on the comprehensive perception, broadband internet and intelligent applications. Energy Internet is a new form of energy system generated through the integration of the Internet and new energy technologies. During the process of integration, Energy Internet also provides support for sustainable development of energy and the construction of Smart City. In this paper, the authors expound the development stage and roadmap of Smart City, clarify the close relationship between Energy Internet and Smart City, summarize the applications of Energy Internet in the various fields of Smart City, and finally analyze in details the supporting role of the internet in the development of smart city.
