Abstract

Abstract: Energy and power shortage frequently happens worldwide since 2021. China has also experienced long-term and large-scale energy and power shortages, which has a great impact on the economic and social development. Therefore, ensuring energy and power supply security has become an important issue which must be paid more attention to in the process of China's green and low-carbon energy transformation. Firstly, the development pattern of global economic society, and energy and power supply-demand are analyzed. Secondly, the phenomena and cause of global and china’s energy and power shortages are studied, and the energy and power supply-demand situation in 2022 is predicted. Finally, based on the Chinese national condition, countermeasures are put forward to ensure China’s energy and power security from the perspectives of energy supply, consumption, technology, policy and international cooperation.
