Abstract: To exhaust the high-efficient, energy-saving and environmental benefits of distributed energy systems, the optimal planning and design are of vital importance. In this study, based on the development and evolution process of distributed energy systems, the corresponding studies at home and abroad are reviewed and discussed with the respect to the optimization of distributed combined heat and power system, distributed hybrid energy system, and distributed energy internet. Finally, the current research status is analyzed and the possible research direction is proposed.

Key words: distributed energy system, optimization, combined heat and power production, multi-energy complement, distributed energy internet
