Abstract: This paper analyzes the impacts of low-low temperature electrostatic precipitator(ESP) on dust characteristics and SO3 removal efficiency, and concludes that the low-low temperature ESP can improve the dust chargeability by reducing the dust resistivity, thus effectively improves the dust removal effect. Moreover, increasing the average diameter of the dust is good for improving the collaborative dust removal effect of the desulfurization system. The wet desulphurization system does not have high SO3 removal efficiency, while the low-low temperature ESP and the wet ESP can remove about 80% of SO3. Therefore, the low-low temperature ESP and the wet ESP are more effective to control SO3.
