A Review on the Energy Internet

Abstract

Abstract: Energy Internet, an emerging research topic, which can be used to solve the problems of energy depletion and environmental pollution, is drawing the great attention from experts, scholars and the government. In this paper, a comprehensive review of the energy Internet and its prospect is taken at first. The reasons why it’s getting more attention are analyzed and the connotation and characteristics of the energy Internet are elaborated. Then the domestic and foreign research status of the energy Internet are summarized. Analysis from the aspects of the architectural design, control strategies and connotations are performed. At the end, the challenges and issues in the development of the energy Internet are further analyzed. The research on the energy Internet is analyzed and summarized, the direction for further research and development is put forward, which makes certain references to the future energy Internet.
