Abstract: Network parameter errors can significantly deteriorate state estimation results in power system. Firstly, a robust state estimation model with ability to avoid bad data influence automatically is investigated. Then, a practical suspicious parameters identification method is developed. The method is based on measurement residuals and mismatch between states on two branch terminals. Finally, a variable step integration algorithm is used to estimate identified suspicious parameters. The proposed method has been deployed in several provincial power control centers. Numerical results of a real provincial power system are given to demonstrate its correctness and effectiveness.
