Abstract: In this paper, the economic and technical analysis of the secondary desulfurization scheme is conducted on four 480-t/h super-high pressure CFB boilers firing gangue in a power plant of Liaoning Province. Through the comparison between the conventional wet limestone-gypsum flue gas desulfurization technology and the semi-dry flue gas desulfurization technology, it is concluded that secondary desulfurization of CFB boilers that adopts the wet limestone-gypsum flue gas desulfurization technology operates stably and reliably, while on the premise of meeting the requirement of SO2 discharge, adopting the semi-dry flue gas desulfurization technology has the advantages of avoiding chimney corrosion, saving the upgrading cost of dust removal equipment and the cost of operation and maintenance, which is beneficial economically and technically.
