Abstract: As an important part of economic and social development, townships have their own unique characteristics in natural resource, energy utilization characteristics and energy infrastructure conditions compared with cities. Based on an analysis of the characteristics and existing problems of green ecological townships with a consideration of the township’s clean-energy resource and their energy demand for the cooling, heating and electricity, and in order to realize the multi-energy complementarity of electricity, gas and heat and the interactive optimization of source, network and load, this paper discusses the key problems of the integrated energy system for the green ecological townships from the aspects of multi-energy coordinated planning, operation optimization and comprehensive evaluation, and makes a prediction for the future development direction of the township’s integrated energy system.

Key words: integrated energy system, green ecological townships, coordinated planning, operation optimization, comprehensive evaluation
