Energy Internet Oriented Evaluation of Distributed Energy Storage Utility in User-Side

Abstract: With the development of China's energy internet, the distributed energy storage system will surely have a great new development opportunity for its excellent flexibility and power consistency, which is of great strategic significance in promoting electricity production and utility pattern change. In view of the user-side distributed energy storage which takes the grid-connected "distributed photovoltaic+energy storage" as the main application mode, a distributed energy storage evaluation model based on double-granularity optimal operation strategy is proposed, which is built on life-cycle cost-benefit analysis model for user-side distributed energy storage considering its operation optimization in advance. Taking the large industrial and business consumers in a China's province as an example, a sensitivity analysis is made of the user-side distributed energy storage value under the effects of the load characteristics, electricity price policy, energy storage costs and technology characteristics, and the future development potential and trend of the user-side distributed energy storage is predicted.
