Abstract: With the fast construction of the renewable energy plants, the curtailment of wind and light power generation becomes increasingly frequent due to the limits of transmission, peak-load regulation and reserve capacity. To improve the integration of renewable energy, this paper focuses on the scheduling of energy-intensive enterprises (EIE). The properties of EIE model in load-side and the current operational status of EIE have been analyzed. Then the possibility that EIE participate in scheduling to improve the renewable energy integration is discussed. Based on the analysis, the paper proposes the idea and framework of “Load-Grid-Source” coordination. A modified decomposed coordinative scheduling (DCS) method is applied to solve the optimization problem. A case study is carried out by applying the method to prove the feasibility and efficiency of the method.
