Abstract: The Energy Internet at the park level is one of the most suitable scenarios for carrying out the multi-energy synergic utilization and integrated energy service under the background of low carbon economy, which can significantly improve the energy structure of China. In this paper, the concept of Park Energy Internet (PEI) is introduced, and the main characteristics and functions of PEI is analyzed in detail. The developments of PEI around the world such as construction objective and application results, are introduced. Based on an analysis of the deficiency of the traditional park energy supply system, the key technical problems in PEI planning are put forward in this paper. Furthermore, the theoretical framework and key factors of PEI planning method are proposed. It is pointed out that the engineering practice should start from system optimal allocation, information platform and energy interaction, and the development philosophy and principle are also put forward.
