Abstract: Due to the issues that came up after the commissioning of a 660 MW supercritical cogeneration unit, such as high heating load consumption and frequent frequency fluctuations, the passing rate of primary frequency control compensation only hover around 50% under the original control logic. By means of completing the triggering logic and tuning the initial action value, the action speed of primary frequency compensation is improved. In addition, by working out the sliding pressure curve in heating operation mode, adjusting the dynamic compensations of pressure deviations and heating loads, in combination with the modifications of the flow characteristic curve through steam turbine flow testing, the improvement of primary frequency control logic is accomplished, which makes the target of passing rate of primary frequency control over 85% achieved.
