Harmonic Compensation Optimization Dispatch Method Based on Multiple APFs for Distribution Line

Abstract: An optimization dispatch method for harmonic compensation in distribution feeders using multiple APFs is proposed to suppress harmonic voltage propagation. The phenomenon of harmonic voltage propagation along distribution feeder is analyzed by using the transmission line theory, and a control strategy for APF-based harmonic compensation is provided. An optimization dispatch model of harmonic compensation is established and the single objective genetic algorithm is used to optimize the harmonic compensation parameters of inverters. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can optimize the harmonic compensation parameters and reduce the total harmonic distortion of node voltages to rated values.
