Abstract: This paper studies the characteristics and requirements of the industrial control system in electric power industry, and analyzes the risks in the information security of the industrial control system in Zhejiang Zheneng Taizhou Second Power Generation Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as“Taizhou 2nd power plant”). Based on the research on the relevant regulations of information security protection in the power industry, the paper proposes an information security protection scheme from the aspects of network protection, protocol security, equipment protection and management to develop and construct the information security protection system for the power plant such that the information security of the control system in the power plant is successfully enhanced, which is of great referential significance for other power plants in the information security protection construction of industrial control system.
