Abstract: To take full advantage of the internal space of the air cooling tower, reduce land occupation and save budget, the layout plan of Four-in-One indirect cooling tower is proposed regarding the steam turbine cooling system with indirect natural draft cooling system, in which the desulfurization absorber tower, the wet electrostatic precipitator(ESP) and the stack are integrated together into the cooling tower. Furthermore, based on the numerical simulation, the heat transfer performance and thermal performance of the cooling tower are studied. Therefore the recommended minimum anti-freezing water flow and the anticorrosion area of the inner wall of the cooling tower are obtained.

Key words: thermal power plant, indirect natural draft cooling system, desulfurization absorber tower, wet electrostatic precipitator (ESP), stack, anti-freezing water flow, anticorrosion area
