Abstract: The mechanical performance, micro characteristics and technical activity of three commercial plate SCR catalysts are evaluated systematically according to the requirements in the Testing Guideline of SCR Catalysts for Thermal Power Plant(DL/T 1286-2013). The evaluation results show that all three catalysts have good mechanical performance with high abrasion resistance and adhesion strength. The BET surface area of the catalysts is quite large, ranging from 70 m2/g to 100 m2/g. In the technical activity analysis these catalysts exhibit high activity and low SO2/SO3 conversion rate which is less than 1%. The methods adopted and the results obtained in this paper can provide references for the performance evaluation of plate catalysts.
