Abstract: Constrained by carbon reduction quota, the power supply enterprises will have to expand the scope of their customer service from simple power supply marketing to comprehensive guidance for customers to electricity consumption optimization and carbon reduction services. Therefore, considering the carbon reduction level of electricity customers, this article builds a power customer value index system in the low-carbon economy, proposes a new method by taking advantage of fuzzy clustering algorithm to finely classify the power customers, and then analyzes the optimal threshold value under dynamic clustering. Furthermore, a practical analysis on an example case of ten large industrial customers in one city is conducted with this method. The segmentation result shows that this assessment system is proven to be reasonable. Finally, the characteristics of different kinds of customers are categorized, and corresponding recommendations on how to provide pertinent services with the cluster results are put forward.
