Research on the Cascaded Energy Storage System Based on Common DC Bus

摘要: 随着城市电网中分布式储能系统容量的增大,储能系统接入的电压等级也在升高,基于城市配电网对电能质量的要求,电网接入系统的谐波必须控制在较低水平,这就限制了器件的最低开关频率,使得大容量储能系统的效率难以提高。常规多电平变流器技术可以在降低器件开关频率的同时达到更高的输出波形质量,符合大容量变流器的发展趋势,但其中工频变压器的设计、体积与噪音等都限制了多电平拓扑的发展。结合多电平链式拓扑与高频变压器技术,设计了一种基于公共直流母线的多电平储能系统,并通过仿真与实验验证了这种拓扑结构的可行性,有望在未来作为一种可选的储能系统接入方案。

Abstract: Along with the fast growth of distributed energy storage in urban grid, the voltage level climbs. The maturity of the multilevel topology has provided an effective solution to the power quality problem of large-scaled power conversion systems, while their development is restrained by the design, volume and noise of their power frequency transformers. This paper provides a multilevel power storage system based on a common dc bus, which combines the cascaded multilevel topology and the high frequency transformer techniques. The effectiveness of this structure is verified through the simulation and experimental tests. This kind of energy storage system is expected to be one of the optional ways to integrate large-scaled power storage into the urban grid in the future.
