汽轮机汽封改造引发的疑难振动故障治理

摘要: 汽封改造在提高汽轮机热效率的同时,也引发了一些机组的振动故障,其中不乏疑难、顽固的振动问题。对某汽轮机在蜂窝汽封改造后出现的振动问题进行分析,得出振动原因是由于该型汽封的技术特点与高中压轴封工艺设计不匹配,引发了轴封体变形,同时在一定程度上影响到汽缸膨胀,最终导致了高中压转子在轴封处发生持久的动静碰摩。在此基础上指出,由于许多汽轮机在低负荷工况下,高中压轴封供汽温度与附近缸壁都会存在显著温差的工艺特点,高中压轴封应慎重选用蜂窝汽封,以避免因汽封改造带来的振动问题。

Abstract: Steam seal modification can improve the thermal efficiency of steam turbines. Unfortunately it also may induce vibration problems in some units, among which some of them are quite stubborn and tough to be resolved. In this paper, the cause analysis is conducted on the vibrations observed after the honeycomb seal retrofit in the steam turbine shaft seal. The analysis concludes that the reason of the vibrations lies in the mismatch between the seal technical characteristics and the HIP shaft sealing process design, which causes the deformation of the steam seal and to some extents impedes the expansion of the HIP cylinder, thus consequentially gives rise to persistent frictional vibration at the steam seal. Based on the analysis, the paper also suggests that since significant temperature discrepancies exist between the seal steam and the casing temperatures in the HIP cylinder of many steam turbines under low load conditions, the honeycomb seal should be chosen with caution in order to avoid the frictional vibration problem.
