Abstract: Taking the steam-driving induced draft fan system of a 600-MW air-cooling unit as an example, the models for small turbine condenser thermal calculation and source steam economic calculation are established respectively. Through the calculation of the economic differences of the steam-driving induced draft fan system using different source steam in different seasons, an optimization method is put forward that the source steam of the small turbine should be changed with the change of the seasons. The calculation results show that the steam-driving induced draft fan system using different source steam has obvious influence on the unit economy, and compared with the fourth stage extraction steam, the net coal consumption rate can be lowered by 0.9 g/(kW·h) when the small turbine is driven by the fifth stage extraction steam in winter and autumn.
