Top-Level Design of Urban Intelligent Energy Systems under Urban Energy Revolution

Abstract: In the current stage, unclear building blocks, obscure framework, and disconnection with urban planning and construction are the most prominent problems during the construction of urban smart energy systems (USESs), requiring a systematic top-level design. Based on a detailed analysis of worldwide demonstration projects of USESs, the design principle, design idea, and functional framework of USESs in China are proposed. On this basis, a top-level design of USESs from the aspects of construction conditions, overall planning and design points, comprehensive service platform, and policy mechanism, development path of urban energy reform are provided, giving references for the future planning, constructions operation of energy internet, smart city and USESs.
