Abstract: China’s wind power is mainly distributed in West China which is far away from the load center. Large scale wind power accommodation would be confronted with problems related to power supply connection and electric power consumption. Large power consumers occupy a large proportion in power load. Wind power can be accommodated by adjusting production plan of large consumers. An optimization model is first established with the goal of maximizing wind power accommodation. With the joint dispatching of wind power and large consumer, profitability analysis of both sides is performed under two different scenarios: with and without cooperation. Large consumer’s productivity is reduced during night hence cost is increased. In order to encourage large consumer participates in wind power accommodation, a dispatching model is built with the goal of maximizing the benefits of both sides. The production loss of large consumer can be compensated from wind power generation in the model.
