Research on the Online Processing Method of Turbine Oil Emulsification

Abstract: The steam seal leakage occurs in the heating unit of a power plant in Shaanxi during the heating period, causing serious emulsification of the lubricating oil in the turbine and endangering the safety of the generator set operation. In order to avoid affecting the normal city heating, the effects of various online processing methods are studied and tested. The results show that the using of a polar selective adsorbent on the online regeneration of the oil is able to maximum the the demulsification reduction, making it demulsified in a very short time, and giving sufficient time for the separation of the oil and the water, This method completely solves the problem of the oil emulsification, which ensures the safe operation of the unit.
