Abstract: Aiming at the bottleneck of measurement and control communication technology for large UAV transmission line inspection, this paper proposes a point-to-point satellite communication solution by analyzing and comparing various schemes. In the implementation of the technical scheme, the optimal selection and installation position of the airborne antennas are analyzed. The dual transmission diversity is used for forward transmission while the way of detecting the energy of the receiving signals is used for reverse transmission, which has effectively solved the signal blockage problems of satellite communication system by the helicopter rotors, resulting in the communication link interruption. The proposed method can effectively promote the application of large UAVs in power transmission line inspection, and further expands the use of satellite communication technology in civilian and military purposes.
