Optimization of the Bay Resources in Substations based on Hierarchical Model

Abstract: With respect to the contradiction between increasing access requirements of distribution network in urban centers and the limited bay resources in power grid, a bay resource optimization method is proposed in this paper based on hierarchical model. For outer-layer planning, the substation of loads is selected for optimization by taking the balance of the substation capacity utilization as target; For inner-layer planning, the association between load and bays is taken for decision-making by taking the largest number of idle bays as target; and the maximum bay resource utilization is used as optimal scheme for final bay resource allocation scheme. The practical simulation results show that the proposed method has good practicability, and can provide a reference for the planning and construction of urban distribution networks.
