Abstract: Based on the development plan of UHV of State Grid Corporation of China and the planning grid of Changji in 2012, the current distribution, static security, transient stability, short circuit current level and power supply section of Changji grid after access of the 750 kV system and super-power source are analyzed. The short circuit current and transient stability of the planning grid for the year of 2015 are calculated too. The adaptability of the planning Changji grid is evaluated. The research results can provide advice in regional power network planning and operation.

Key words: 750 kV system, super-power source, regional power grid
