On November 3, 2025, on the occasion of the successful joint organization of the Autumn Academic Annual Meeting of China Electric Power and 5th IEEE International Academic Conference on Energy Engineering and Power Systems by the State Grid Energy Institute and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), in order to promote academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation, Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of China Electric Power, Shan Baoguo, led a team to the Chinese University of Hong (Shenzhen) to carry out the "Journal into the Campus" activity, and combined with the science popularization publicity of the Communist Party members' service team "E Future", in-depth exchanges were held with teachers and students.

At the beginning of the event, on behalf of China Electric Power, Shan Baoguo gifted the research results of the think tank and books on power to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). Zhang Hongxian, the deputy editor-in-chief and assistant to the president (in charge of the) of China Electric Power, then introduced the basic information of the State Grid Energy Institute and the journal China Electric Power. In the special report session, Liu Jun, the director of Energy Strategy and Planning Research Institute, gave a special lecture on "Climate Change and Double Carbon Goals - High-Quality Construction of a New Power System", systematically expounding on background and significance, system connotation and realistic challenges of China's "Double Carbon" goals, and discussed with the teachers and students on-site the key strategies and implementation for the high-quality construction of a new power system.

During the same period, Xue Yusheng, a member of the editorial advisory committee of the journal China Electric Power and an academician of the Chinese of Engineering, was invited to attend the "Masters' Forum" of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), and delivered a keynote speech on the topic "The Difficulties and Their Solutions in the Planning of Complex Systems", bringing cutting-edge academic views and profound insights to the teachers and students.
The journal editorial committee of "China Electric Power", Academician Xue Yusheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited the Hong University of Science and Technology (Shenzhen) for the Master Lecture Series.
