川西地区带合闸电阻断路器的操作过电压分析

Operation Overvoltage Analysis of the Circuit Breakers with Closing Resistors in UHV Grids

摘要: 为了给500 kV线路带合闸电阻断路器的运行提供技术依据,综述了近20年全国各超高压变电站发生的多起合闸电阻爆炸实例,然后通过PSCAD软件仿真,以川西地区500 kV主干网为研究对象,计算了空载线路投切时,500 kV线路操作过电压情况。计算结果表明,由于合闸电阻的作用,断路器断口和绝缘都可以承受从线路两侧产生的操作过电压。

Abstract: A summary was made of the circuit breaker explosion accidents happened in the past two decades in the ultra-high voltage (UHV) substations in China. In order to provide a technical basis for the operation and maintenance of circuit breakers with closing resistors in 500 kV transmission lines, the no-load switching tests were simulated through PSCAD on the backbone grid in west Sichuan province. The simulation results indicate that the circuit breakers can endure the operation overvoltage from both directions of the lines with the help of the both-side arresters and high-voltage reactors.
