Lightning Protection Performance of 500 kV Compact Transmission Lines

摘要: 紧凑型输电线路的防雷是保证其线路安全运行的一项重要内容。基于冀北地区500 kV紧凑型输电线路防雷运行的统计数据分析,得出结论认为,相比于常规输电线路,紧凑型输电线路的防雷性能具有明显的优势。由于紧凑型线路特殊的塔窗结构,塔窗内局部位置空气间隙距离较短、雷电冲击放电电压低,造成紧凑型线路反击跳闸率相对较高。

Abstract: Lightning protection of compact transmission lines is very important for their safety operation. A statistic analysis of the lightning protection performance of compact lines in the north Hebei area indicates that the compact lines have obvious advantages over the conventional lines in lightning protection performance. Due to its special tower window structure, shorter air gap and lower lightning impulse flashover voltage, the compact line is higher than the conventional line in back striking trip-out rate.
