Review on enhancement of power supply resilience of distribution networks under cloud-edge collaboration

  • The frequent occurrence of extreme weather events has posed severe challenges to the safe and stable operation of power distribution networks. Enhancing the power-supply resilience of distribution networks has become a critical topic in the construction of new-type distribution networks, and cloud-edge collaboration technology acts as a technical enabler for full-cycle resilience enhancement of distribution networks. This paper first constructs an overall research framework for power-supply resilience enhancement of distribution networks under cloud-edge collaboration, and elaborates on the cloud-edge collaboration architecture of sensing layer-edge layer-cloud layer, as well as the full-cycle resilience attributes of distribution networks covering pre-disaster prevention, in-disaster response, and post-disaster recovery. Secondly, it systematically reviews four key technologies for distribution network resilience enhancement, and illustrates the full-cycle resilience evaluation system deeply compatible with the cloud-edge collaboration architecture. Furthermore, it discusses the technical paths for cloud-edge collaboration-driven full-cycle resilience enhancement of distribution networks across the three stages: pre-disaster prevention, in-disaster response, and post-disaster recovery. Finally, considering the bottlenecks existing in current research, this paper provides an outlook on the key future research directions in this field, which can offer theoretical reference for the construction of new-type power distribution networks.
